Knight's Tour by George Jelliss
In 1997, George Jelliss made the following 9x9 knight's tour that makes an 8x8 pointed star in the middle of the tour. George is an unmatched knight's tour historian and has made many tours on various size boards.
In the image below, I added an 8-pointed star to George's tour and hollowed out sections of the star with the two diamond shape rhombus patterns made by the knight on the chessboard.
Here are a couple more 9x9 drawings I made based on knight moves, but not a single complete circuit, that makes similar star shapes and a Knight's Templar cross or Maltese Cross.
Here is the Knight's Templar Cross or Maltese Cross made from the previous 9x9 knight moves.
